Larry’s Lizard Corner
Updated: Feb 6, 2021
We have been in Mexico for almost 6 months now. We have noticed that there are a lot of freakin lizards here! Especially big Iguanas. For cheap entertainment, we enjoy chasing them. We have developed several strategies for many successful captures.
This update is brought to you by Maya Bell.

Below you will find 10 easy steps for catching an iguana in a pool complete with pictures that we hope will be helpful.
Site Iguana in or near pool
Evaluate the area around and near pool
Communicate with your Lizard partner (always helpful to have a teammate) and Determine the course of action
Lizard catcher (Larry) enters the pool
Lizard partner (Rhonda) secures the other edge of pool (for escape)
Use time effectively as Iguanas swim under the water and have to hold their breath (you have approximately 30 minutes)
Approach lizard
8. Test with a foot on the tail
9. Raise Iguana out of the water
We wish you all the success that we have found with our method!
Happy Lizard Catching!
